The Board, made up of homeowners and occasionally a representative from UC Berkeley, makes all of the major decisions and establishing policies for the condo association. Under California law, the board or its committees must set assessments for residents, hire personnel, maintain common areas, purchase insurance, obtain accounting and legal services and establish house rules.

The Architectural Review Board (ARB) accepts proposals for architectural modification from homeowners year-round. Homeowners should contact the ARB when planning any improvements in their unit.
